Recruit Class 332 was honored today by Mayor Anthony Williams and Chief Adrian Thompson during a ceremony at Gallaudet University. 

Calling the class "one of the best if not the best I've seen since my arrival," Battalion Fire Chief Larry Jackson called the name of each graduate who then received his designation from the Fire Chief.  During his remarks, Mayor Williams dedicated to the new firefighters that the city is committed to
refurbishing firehouses across the city.  "We ask you to lay down your lives for us," said the Mayor, "the least we can do is provide you with a decent facility."
