A Spring Valley home suffered serious damage after a car slammed into the front door on the evening of July 14th.

The accident, which occurred in the 1700 block of Foxhall Road N.W., briefly trapped the driver inside the vehicle until she could be removed by Special Ops personnel. The occupants of the home escaped injury.

The incident required a full cave-in assignment. The rehab unit also proceeded to the scene to provide re-hydration due to the hot night and extended operation.
