hrs, Engine 16 went for the reported auto at 12th & Rhode Island
Ave., N.W.
The call was quickly upgraded to a Special Operations Local
as several callers reported a trolley bus heavily involved with
fire.
Engine 16 made the initial attack and knock down on the bus
and was assisted by Engines 4 & 9. There were no injuries
reported, the bus had no one aboard other than the driver.
The fire was believed to be started from a leaking propane tank
used to fuel the bus.
