D.C. firefighters
had to come to the aid of their own after a small fire
broke out in the kitchen of Engine 26 and Truck 15's
firehouse.
The incident took place late Thursday morning, June
29th, while both units were out of quarters engaged at
the scene of a working fire on 2nd Street N.W.
Flames broke out on the firehouse stove and spread
slightly to the kitchen wall before they were quickly
extinguished by a box alarm assignment sent to the
station at 1340 Rhode Island Avenue N.E. |
