First arriving units found smoke coming from the roof.  Battalion 4 requested the working fire dispatch.  As firefighters began venting the roof and extinguishing the fire, it was learned painters were using a heat gun to remove old paint from attic trim. 

The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.  A rapid response kept damage to a minimum with no injuries to either civilians or firefighters.
