Units were dispatched at 11:57 AM for the building fire - 1805 5th St., NW. 

First arriving firefighters found smoke showing from the second floor.  A bedroom was on fire on the second floor.  A fast interior attack knocked the fire down in minutes.  There were no injuries, but two children told investigators they were home alone inside the fire apartment.  They were able to get out on their own, and the case is under review by the Metropolitan Police Department.
