After 34 1/2 years serving the DCFD and OUC, Tom "Buddha" Burke aka dispatcher 15 said his farewell  on Friday night December 29, 2006.

Tom made a brief speech on channel 1 and in return dozens wished Tom a happy and healthy well deserved retirement.

The new Director of OUC Janice Quintana presented Tom with a gift of thanks and members of Engine 15 and Rescue Squad 3 # 2 platoon stopped by and presented him with a company tee-shirt.

Buddha, we all wish you a very happy and healthy retirement, your outstanding skills and knowledge of the city and department will truly be missed.  Thank you for 34 years of pure professionalism.
