Battalion Assignments

Please note, the Second Battalion was disbanded November 1, 1992 (Special Order #53) and it remained out of service until April 26, 1995 (Special Order #41).  At that time the Seventh and Eighth Battalions (at Engine 18 and Engine 30 respectively) were disbanded, and the Second Battalion was reopened at Engine 8.  Other companies were shuffled around to even things out somewhat.
