Retired Firefighter Eileen P. Smith - lost her battle with cancer this morning at home surrounded by her 16 year old daughter (Tyler) as well as other close friends.
She is the daughter of Retired F/F 'Steamboat' smith, as well as a cousin to many other retired members of the DCFD.
Memorial Service to be held at the monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA, on Friday Oct. 31, 2008 from 1730 to 1930 hours.
Her wish was to have an Honor Guard, so active members should wear the Full Dress uniform.
